Minimum of 1 - 2 years relevant industry experience in Telecommunications Two-Way Mobile Radio installations and High Sites environment. Computer literacy A valid driver’s licence Must be physically fit and able bodied to climb heights and to carry heavy equipment and tools Must be willing to work overtime and standby. Key Performance Areas Assist with TETRA radio field work to ensure that TETRA mobile radio installations and repairs are performed in accordance with the approved standards, regulations and procedures. Assist Technician with base radios to ensure that TETRA base radio installations and repairs are performed in accordance with the approved standards, regulations and procedures. To ensure that TETRA and analogue radio infrastructure systems, installations and repairs are performed in accordance with the approved standards, regulations and procedures. Perform inspection checks and general housekeeping of radio high site facilities. Perform maintenance of repeater site masts and towers, power supply systems and generators by carrying out generator refuelling tasks. Perform General Radio Administration which include minor job related reports, material requirements and daily inspections of the department's service vehicles and creating and booking of work/ time on SAP.
