BUYER MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY WEST COAST JOB PURPOSE EXPERIENCE Diploma Buying or similar Supply chain qualification 10 years experience as a Technical Buyer Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes Full understanding of the whole supply chain Financial background Basic understanding of legal agreements KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPA's) Identify and establish preferred relevant suppliers list Negotiate costing Draw up the physical SLA Adherence to Safety and relevant market/legislative certification Manage relevant packaging and production material Reconciliation of MRP execution to operational production stragegy Desired Skills: Purchasing Commodity management Supplier Sourcing MRP Material requirements planning Global Sourcing Central Purchasing Supplier Negotiation Cost Reduction Desired Work Experience: 5 to 10 years Purchasing & Procurement Desired Qualification Level: Certificate About The Employer: A manufacturing company in the West Coast area in Cape Town is looking for a Technical Buyer for their plant in Atlantis.
