In this role, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical solutions and customer needs, maximizing sales opportunities and fostering long-term client relationships. Responsibilities: Become a technical expert: Gain an in-depth understanding of your assigned product lines and their applications within the electrical industry. Master the art of communication: Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations to engage customers and present solutions that address their specific needs. Consult with confidence: Engage in technical discussions with clients and engineers to identify equipment requirements and system specifications. Teamwork makes the dream work: Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer demands and provide insightful technical support throughout the sales cycle. Close the deal: Secure new orders, negotiate effectively, and drive sales growth through strategic customer relationship management. Innovation is key: Be proactive in identifying opportunities to modify existing products or develop new ones based on evolving customer needs. Problem-solving pro: Assist clients in troubleshooting issues with installed equipment and recommend solutions that optimize performance and efficiency. Future-focused: Contribute to the research and development of new products and solutions that anticipate market trends and customer demands. Qualifications: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or an Electrical Trade qualification. Minimum of 5 years of technical work experience within an Electrical/Engineering environment. Proven sales experience and a track record of exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Strong ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients. Self-motivated with a proactive approach and a commitment to continuous learning. Experience with technical presentations and sales software is a plus.
