Hire Resolve's client in the Environment and Sustainability industry, is currently seeking a Technical Specialist to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and projects in the field of environment and sustainability. The Technical Specialist will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to clients, conducting research, and developing strategies to address environmental and sustainability challenges. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the environment and sustainability industry, as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Responsibilities: Provide technical expertise and support to clients in the environment and sustainability industry Conduct research and analysis to identify environmental and sustainability challenges and develop strategies to address them Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to implement sustainability initiatives Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices Coordinate and oversee environmental assessments and impact studies Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards Prepare and present reports and recommendations to clients and stakeholders Provide technical training and support to team members Manage project budgets and timelines Requirements BSc Honours Degree in Hydrogeology/Geology/Chemical Engineering Pr Sci Nat An MSc/PHD Degree in Hydrogeology/Geology/Chemical Engineering will be an advantage 12 - 15 years' experience in site assessment, risk assessment and remediation of contaminated sites Experience in remediation of hyrocarbon impact, chlorinated hydrocarbons and other organic volatile and semi volatile compounds will be an added advantage Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards Experience conducting environmental assessments and impact studies Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in relevant software and tools Project management experience is a plus Professional certifications in the environment and sustainability field are desirable Benefits Salary: negotiable Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity) Paid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable) Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
