Look no further, Moving Tactics offers a 12 month (Paid) internship that is in partnerships with Yes4Youth to get you market ready. In order to be eligible for the internship, you need to meet the following criteria: 18-34 years old Candidate is defined in accordance with the BBBEE definition South African citizen Unemployed Has not completed a Yes4Youth program previously. If you are looking for experience in the Digital Signage space and have an interest in technical, installations and logistics, then this is the job for you Technical Support: Conduct daily meetings, either in advance or on the day, with relevant staff to discuss upcoming tasks and requirements. Understand and fulfill assigned responsibilities, assisting technicians and installers with any required tasks. Provide support to on-site teams, installers, and support engineers as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the technical office at all times. Ensure proper labeling of stock inventory. Handle administrative duties within the technical department. Assist the General Manager with miscellaneous tasks as necessary. Configure SOC screens, LTE routers, players, and access points as required. Conduct testing and identify any faulty equipment for further action. Meet all specified deadlines consistently. Maintain regular communication with all relevant parties on a daily basis. Ensure all task deadlines are consistently met. Stock Control: Assist the Regional Stock Control Manager in ensuring smooth operational flow of all assets. Conduct monthly full stock takes in the region with utmost accuracy. Generate accurate weekly and monthly reports as required. Stay informed about Moving Tactics FOC stock and client allocation. Prepare correct stock in one location for next-day installations. Manage the sending and receiving of correct stock to and from the Technical Department. Verify incoming stock and ensure accuracy. Maintain adherence to Stock Control Process and Procedures. Ensure stock security through locked storerooms. Keep storerooms neat, tidy, and accurately stocked. Attend all invited stock-related meetings. Maintain effective communication with team members and relevant departments. Drive to suppliers for stock collection and delivery. Manage control of installation consumables. Ensure the generator diesel is topped up and the generator is operated daily, with regular checks. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the basement. Conduct regular risk assessments and report findings to the Stock Control Manager. Provide assistance to the technical support department. Assist the General Manager with any assigned tasks. In-Office IT Support: Provide computer and printer support. Maintain antivirus software on all machines. Perform backups of critical systems. Conduct network maintenance. Handle general cabling and WiFi maintenance. Set up signage computers and screens. Configure network devices. Set up new laptops and equipment. Maintain and support office camera and security systems. General: Always uphold professionalism, aligned with company core values. Communicate clearly and effectively with both clients and colleagues. Maintain a neat and tidy appearance, reflecting Moving Tactics' professionalism. Adhere to company processes and procedures consistently. Prioritize safety by utilizing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe work practices. Be prepared for after-hours and weekend work as required to serve clients effectively.
