Requirements: Matric Certificate Experience in Mechanics Duties include: Diagnose and identify vehicle malfunctions using diagnostic equipment and manual testing methods Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and provide accurate repair estimates Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as tune-ups and fluid checks, to ensure optimal vehicle performance Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and identify any additional issues Use computerized systems to access and update vehicle repair records Stay informed about new technologies and advancements in automotive repair techniques Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and equipment Communicate effectively with customers to explain needed repairs, provide cost estimates, and address any concerns or questions they may have
