Pharmaceutical Sales Representative Job Responsibilities: Achieving sales targets set on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basic Embrace development and training to further grow professionally and personally Assess client's needs and present suitable promoted products Liaise with and persuade targeted doctors to prescribe our products utilizing effective selling skills and performing cost-benefit analysis Provide product information and deliver product samples Attend sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions, and symposium circuits Work with sales team to develop strategies and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message Build positive trust relationships with medical representatives to influence the targeted group in the decision-making process Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage Keep accurate records and documentation for reporting and feedback Pursue continuous learning and professional development and stay up-to-date with the latest medical data Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature. Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques. Recommends changes in products, services, and policies by evaluating results and competitive developments. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
