Are you passionate about quality assurance and meticulous in your work? We're looking for a skilled Test Analyst to help our client giant innovative client ensure our software meets the highest standards. This is a contract until December 2025. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality standards. Write, execute, and manage test cases with a detail-oriented approach. Conduct manual testing and engage in automated test processes where applicable. Utilize tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and X-Ray for effective test management. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve defects and ensure quality. Essential Skills: Understanding of systems engineering concepts Some business analysis experience (advantage) Experience with reviewing requirements and developing test cases based on those requirements. JIRA, Confluence and X-Ray experience Up to 3 years of testing experience Moderate SQL knowledge a bonus The ability to analyse a process from start to finish Requirement review & static analysis Analyse Test Scripts for feasibility Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Cypress/ Cucumber framework for front end testing Qualification Work experience, A degree or diploma in Computer Science/Information Systems or a related field is preferred. Core Role tasks and responsibilities Collaboration with Team Lead, Stakeholders, IT PO and Team regarding Testing topics Writing test cases, Test Execution, Defect capture. Planning and effort estimation for test case execution Perform in the manual execution of test cases for SIT and defect retesting when required. Set up test sessions with the business Conducts UAT session with identified business users Obtain sign off from the identified business users Communicating, follow up and resolving defects Assigning defects to developer Retesting of defects after a fix applied by the developer Closing the defects that have been fixed and retested Using XRay to perform all testing activities Defect management and reporting – Communicating defect issues to project team and back to business upon request including reporting (types of defects, the cause, and the severity of the defect), assigning and tracking resolution of software issues. (SIT and UAT) Review and provide feedback on requirements documents to ensure completion from a testing perspective Coordinate test data creation with the developers and test analysts Ensure appropriate test environment access levels for testers Track new/changed requirements and ensure these are addressed during testing Escalate deviations in the plan to Project Lead, Agile Master / DevOps Lead Act as point of contact between Developers and Testers Ensure that project time allocated to testing are utilized efficiently and effectively
