Thatch Roof Specialist and Maintenance Officer - Gauteng
Key Responsibilities: 1. Thatch Roof Construction and Maintenance: • Expertise in laying new thatch roofs, ensuring they meet aesthetic and safety standards. • Regular servicing and maintenance of existing thatch roofs to ensure longevity and quality. • Diagnosing and repairing any issues with thatch roofs efficiently and effectively. 2. General Building Maintenance: • Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of buildings to ensure they are in optimal condition. • Performing a range of repair tasks, including but not limited to painting. 3. Gardening and basic Landscaping. Qualifications and Skills: • Proven experience in thatch roof construction and maintenance. • General building maintenance skills, including painting. • Gardening and landscaping knowledge is advantageous. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Good communication and writing skills and team. Education: • Relevant trade certification or equivalent experience in thatch roofing and building maintenance.
