The Publishing Partnership: Senior Web Designer - South Africa
A creative publishing agency is looking for an experienced, talented web designer to create brand-new, cutting-edge solutions in a digital environment. This designer will work closely with a team under guidance of the editor/digital director in determining the direction of new digital projects and implementing them to the highest standards. Duties: – Implement the conceptual and visual evolution of each project – Ensure that the highest creative and design standards are met – Be prepared with creative solutions – Be involved with projects from brainstorming through to client sign-off – Assist when needed in pitches and client presentations – Make sure that design guidelines and consistency standards are met – Liaise with members of the technical/creative team Job Requirements – Web design experience (web and mobile) – An understanding of CSS, DHTML and Javascript – Excellent knowledge of Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop and DreamWeaver (or similar) – An understanding of digital platforms: websites, mobile sites, touchscreen applications – Good understanding of social media, Web 2.0/3.0 and internet best practices – Relevant Design Qualification Contact details Jolinda Kemp The Publishing Partnership 21 424 3517 jkemptppsa.co.za
