Introduction Our client is seeking a skilled individual to join their team as a Therapy Assistant Description Are you a person who can strike up a conversation with almost anybody? Do you careabout the wellbeing of people and like to motivate people? You will be working in anenvironment where you will assist to motivate and support patients daily to attend atherapeutic program. You will interact with patients, nursing staff, therapists, and doctorsto provide feedback on the daily activities of patients. REQUIREMENTS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING? Care Worker certificate or Occupational therapy technician could be advantageous if youmeet the other criteria? 2 years or more experience in the health environment or hospitality industry KEY COMPETENCIES? Adequate written and verbal communication? Ability to work in a team, share information and take clear directions? Punctuality? Problem solving? Solution driven? Effective time management? Assertive regarding attending to therapy priorities? Implementing code of conduct? Able to ask questions when unsure and brainstorm possibilities? Able to set boundaries and be assertive? Empathic? Commitment to undertake and participate in necessary in-house training? Genuine desire to help people? Ability to remain calm under pressure
