Description Trainee Accountant required for an Auditing Firm in Roodepoort that is a SAICA- accredited training center. The role is suited for a candidate that resides in the West Rand, and is wanting to complete their articles as per the requirements set out by SAICA. Please note that your Matric Certificate and Transcripts will be required during the application process. Candidates wishing to transfer their training are welcome to apply. Role and Responsibilities: As set out in the Training requirements for SAICA External Auditing Debtors and Creditors Payment allocations and reconciliations Bank reconciliations Invoice and statement checking Assists the Financial Manager as required Assists with annual audits Ad-hoc accounting responsibilities as required Experience, Qualifications and Knowledge: Matric Currently busy with or completed a SAICA accredited degree at an approved institution. Must agree to complete the three-year SAICA training contract. Proficient in English and Afrikaans - read, write and speak. Computer literate Valid SA driver’s license and Own reliable vehicle Must reside in the West Rand Profile Required Skills: Strong attention to detail Proficient computer skills Excellent time management and organizational skills Analytical and problem-solving skills.
