This role is based in Midrand.Here's what you'll be responsible for: Cash and Liquidity Management: Utilize your expertise in cash flow forecasting and analysis to ensure optimal cash and liquidity levels are maintained at all times. Hedging and Funding Activities: Analyze market trends and perform hedging activities to mitigate risk. Manage funding activities such as forex transactions, loans, and deposits to support ongoing operations and capital investments. Banking Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banking partners. Review and negotiate contracts regularly to ensure favorable terms and provide cost benchmarks. Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to enhance treasury-related processes and drive implementation to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Policy and Reporting: Update and maintain the Treasury Policy. Prepare and analyze treasury reports, including exchange control applications and renewals, to support decision-making. Digital Transformation: Assist with the development and implementation of the digitization journey of the treasury department. Implement and maintain treasury management systems to streamline processes. Month-End Closing: Lead the treasury month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting. Global Reporting: Complete monthly debt and foreign currency reports for the Group, providing insights into financial performance. Policy Development: Develop and support treasury policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risk. Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing information and support as needed. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Proven experience in treasury management, including cash flow forecasting and hedging activities Prior experience in building relationships with various African banks is non-negotiable Familiarity with treasury management systems and digital transformation initiatives If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
