CSR / TRUCK DRIVER Job Advert Summary Driver is responsible for providing industry-leading levels of service to clients while taking care of all customer document destruction needs, including transporting supplies and materials, safely and in accordance with company policy. This involves loading and unloading the delivery vehicle and ensuring that all cargo is safely secured before transport. Security is of the utmost importance regarding document shredding. That’s why we adhere to strict security protocols and guidelines to ensure that your documents are correctly and securely destroyed. Our shredding trucks are equipped with GPS tracking, and our shredding process fully complies with all state and government regulations. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 Valid Code 10 Drivers’ License and valid PDP 2 – 3 years driving experience (8-ton vehicle) in a logistics/warehousing/distribution environment Must have own transport to get to work to depart for outbound routes when required SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES / KNOWLEDGE: Good communication – written and spoken Customer focused and visible commitment to quality-of-service provision Willingness to work overtime Ability to learn new systems and processes Hands on person Ability to work under extreme pressure Ability to handle difficult clients and their continuous demands Able to relate well to people at all levels Assertiveness Ability to adapt and be flexible especially when it comes to change Must have the company’s objectives and best interest at heart Honesty Trustworthy and reliable Duties and Responsibilities Efficient completion of all work orders assigned to the CSR team. Correct scanning of each individual container at each client and the generation and issue of certificate of destruction to the representative of the client. Efficient shredding of all documentation onsite (this is not applicable to those clients requiring offsite shredding) Completing the Daily Activity Workbook daily Cleaning of the mobile shredding truck once per week. Cleaning of the shredding work area once per week. Offloading of the mobile shredding truck when required. CSR is to ensure truck is never overloaded with paper. Ensure team cupboard and scanning equipment is cleaned once a week and kept neat and always locked. Ensuring the periodic maintenance checks and services are performed on the trucks and mobile shredders within the time specified. Monitoring the cleanliness of the mobile shredding vehicles, the warehouse, and the client service representatives. Ensuring Cleardata secure consoles are always clean.
