- Grade 12 qualification (required).
- Turner/Machinist Trade Qualification (required).
- N2 Mechanical Engineering/Trade Theory qualification (minimum).
- Minimum 3 years of apprenticeship as a Turner or Machinist (required).
- At least 10 years of post-apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing environment (required).
- Experience working in a sawmilling environment (highly preferred).
- Ability to work shifts (including weekends and public holidays) and overtime (required).
- Tolerance to work in a physically demanding environment with dust, heat, and noise (required).
- Excellent physical strength and stamina (required).
