JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT : To provide IT support to all end users KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES): Onsite and Remote User Support. Coordinating with outsourced service providers in delivery of End User services. Troubleshoot hardware and software incidents and requests. Install, configure, and support Windows workstations as per standards and policies. Manage users on systems (reset passwords, create new accounts etc.). Mobile devices setup, support, and asset management. Maintain current and accurate inventory of hardware, software, and resources. Train end users on usage of computer hardware and software applications. Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements. Identify opportunities for improvement and propose viable solutions. ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS: Grade 12 Relevant IT Diploma or Degree in Information Technology Relevant IT Certifications, A and N certification etc. EXPERIENCE: 1 - 3 years' experience in supporting Windows based operating systems KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Active Directory and Microsoft 365 knowledge experience. Hardware and Software trouble shooting. Knowledge of network topology and ability to provide support. Conversant knowledge of IT terminology Windows desktops and laptops support. Flexibility to work outside of normal hours as needed. BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES: Good communication, interpersonal, organization, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrate curiosity, initiative, and aptitude to conceive solutions to problems.
