Dedicated and detail oriented Intermediate accountant required for account ng firm in Durban North:Duties:Managing a portfolio of clients including private companies, small business corporations and Trusts:- processing accounting transactions and reconciliations- preparation of working paper files and monthly management accounts- Calculation of VAT- Preparation of payroll and PAYE- Drafting financial statements per IFRS and IFRS for SMMEs- Performing tax computations- Submission of tax returns on SARS E-Filing- Company compliance function- Effective communication with clients- Provide training and development to junior staffRequirements:- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role- B. Com Accounting or similar relevant accounting qualification- In- depth Knowledge of IFRS/IFRS for SMMEs and the Income Tax and VAT Acts- Detailed knowledge of Pastel accounting package and Caseware- Ability to work in a team and independently- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines- Good communication skills (verbal and written)Salary - Market RelatedInterested candidates to send CV's in response to this advert or to umnothohrgmail.com
