About Us We are recruiting for a Vending Jockey to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to details able to receive payments and issuing receipts as well as keeping track of all cash and credit transactions and vending machine. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers and vending machines operate. Be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for beverage and resale vending machines To ensure at all times that Company and Statutory regulations of Health & Safety Act are adhered to To order stock vending machines according to the correct Company ordering procedure ( My Market ) To maintain correct stock levels at all times Responsible for receiving and issuing of stock – vending and free issues To take stock To maintain all controls as prescribed Daily costings Manage self in a high pressurised environment Adhere to deadlines Handling and responsible of store and vending keys Customer complaints Skills and Competencies Strong judgement and problem solving skills Excellent people skills Communication skills (verbal and written) Flexibility Attention to detail Client service orientated Cash & Stock handling skills Negotiation skills Qualifications Relevant tertiary qualification preferably in Catering Minimum of 3 years vending experience Vending placement and taste profiles
