VJ 415507 - Junior Project Engineer (Water Treatment/Pumps) - Johannesburg

Our client specialises in pump engineering.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Site surveys.
• Establishing a BOQ.
• Costing the BOQ and interaction with engineers, consultants, suppliers, procurement and execution.

• BTech/ND Mechanical/Chemical Engineering

• Areas of exposure should be chemical dosing (e.g. Polyelectrolyte, Ferric Chloride, Sodium Hypochlorite, Acid (HCL, H2SO4, etc), Chlorine Gas, Reagent (eg: SIBX, CuSO4, etc) in potable and waste water treatment systems, mining (Concentrator plants), industrial, food and beverage and petrochemical processes with relevant site and application experience.
• Minimun 5 years of work experience.
• Sound technical report writing.
• Proven process design experience and be able establish a process design based on appropriate/relevant mechanical, chemical and operational considerations of each application.
• Competent in the use of MS Office and a drafting package.
• Valid drivers license (code EB) and their own reliable vehicle.
