VMWARE System Administrator - Pretoria
The candidate will be a leader of a team responsible for the management, maintenance and support of the IT infrastructure working in conjunction with other system administrators, database administrators and system maintenance Consultant. It is therefore crucial that the proposed candidate have the following; a) Deep skills and experience in Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications with the following certifications: MCSE, MCSD, MCSA, etc.;
MCITP Enterprise Administrator (Microsoft Certified IT Professional) on Windows Server;
VMWare Certified Professional 6 Data Center Virtualization (VCP6-DCV)
MCDBA will be an advantage It is further recommended that the candidate should have experience in Troubleshooting and problem solving technical issues Deep skills and experience in designing and implementing IT solutions
Technical Skills requirements In addition to the above skills experience, it will be advantageous for candidates to also have the following technical skills:
SystemAdministratorSoftware Patch management, uptime monitoringand top tier support.> 3 Years
Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange technologiesand IIS;> 4 Years
Microsoft SQL server technologies; > 3 years
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Active Directoryon Server technologies;> 3 Years
Microsoft Windows Server technologies > 3 Years
Extensive knowledge and experience onvirtualization technologies (VMWare and HypeV)> 3 Years
Networking skills, configuration of switches, IPranges and VLANS (VPN, Cisco routers, Satellite
networks, Switches, VLANs, VOIP etc.)>3 Years
Design IT infrastructure; >3 Years
Skills and experience in data-center hardware andsoftware support and installation;>3 Years
Network security skills and experience (Symantecantivirus End Point Protection edition);>3 Years
Good communication and interpersonal skills; Advantage
Good Microsoft networking and Operating System

Configuring and managing firewalls (Checkpoint
