While establishing a friendly relationship with guests, the Waiter/Waitress Assistant supports the Waiter/Waitress in providing excellent and professional dining service to guests. Responsibilities: Help the Waiter/Waitress in the assigned station at any restaurant, including the buffet area. Possess full knowledge of the menu of the assigned venue. Possess ability to describe and serve the food selection on the assigned venue. Complies with Explora Journeys standard procedures relating to cleanliness, set-ups and service standards. Perform room service duties when requested by supervisors. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience as a 'Waiter/Waitress Assistant' in an internationally recognised 5 star hotel is essential Food Safety/HACCP certificated Ship experience advantageous Possess a valid passport Fluent in English
