Must be South African who has worked in the Supply Chain industry for 10 years. Your tenacious personality and high energy levels will be a considering factor once we shortlist for this role. Our client is a high volume manufacturing client in FMCG.

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in Supply chain/Warehouse Management OR
Diploma/Degree in Transport and logistics Management OR
Industrial Engineering Diploma/Degree (added advantage) OR
Operations Management Diploma/Degree (added advantage)

Experience

Must have at least 10year’s experience as a Supply chain/Warehouse Manager
Experience managing inbound (freight clearing, forwarding and receipting) and outbound logistics (dispatch and distribution)
Experience with forecasting and allocations
Management of outsourcing and value add processes
Experience implementing and working with warehouse management systems and tools – Warehouse layout, stacking, barcoding and scanning, binning, traceability
Full responsibility for inventory control and procedures (on site and off site) – Cycle counting, month end stock counts and recons, Annual auditing (external)
Supplier contract negotiating (pricing, annual review, audits and evaluation)
Manage staff compliment of 15 people
Must have a good understanding of production and process flows
Adherence to Quality systems (FSSC 22000, ISO 9001)
Computer literate – MS office and SYSPRO is essential
Must have excel and know how to calculate formulas
