Salary: Market related Location: Olifantsfontein Industry: Food Processing/Supply Reference Number: CWR.NRS.JWS.30012024 COMPANY DESCRIPTION: Our client is a leading South African meat wholesaler supplying meat and other food products to sectors of the hotel, restaurant and hospitality industries. They are looking for a Junior Warehouse Supervisor to join their Gauteng team. JOB DESCRIPTION: MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Production: Daily planning and coordination of the factory's activities, orders, raw materials and staffing Provide feedback on all NCR's raised for factory Ensure operation adheres to food safety rules and ensure GMP's are on standard Logistics: Receiving and dispatching goods and verifying movements of stock Checking purchase orders against stock levels Preparing delivery schedules Coordinating maintenance and repairs of storage facility Warehouse Assistant Move inventory and materials across facilities Process inventory for delivery Sort, organize and store inventory in the proper location Package items and label correctly Scan delivered items and assure quality Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Matric Relevant tertiary qualifications (Quality, Food Processing, Production, Logistics or similar) EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED: 2 Years experience in a similar role Experience in supervising staff members or leading a team Food industry experience beneficial Strong communication skills both written and verbal Intermediate computer skills Report writing skills Team player Able to handle pressure and meet deadlines POPIA By Submitting your CV, you confirm that: We may retain your personal information in our database for future matching.
