Technical Competencies and responsibilities

Warehouse Management & Administration
Responsible for the overall performance of the warehouse
Ensure accurate warehouse space planning. (planogram)
Ensure Materials Handling Equipment is serviced, in good working order. Fuel is available where required.
Health & Safety - Ensure the warehouse is compliant to all health & Safety standards.
Maintain and ensure the Health & Safety file as well as the electronic Mango System are up to date at all times
Warehouse Cost Control - Ensure that all warehouse costs are constantly monitored and controlled.
Housekeeping - Ensure the warehouse is always clean and clear of debris.
Staff Management Ensure warehouse is fully always staffed according to the approved organisation structure.

Behavioural Competencies:

Ability to perform under pressure.
Ability to set deadlines and achieve them.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong Literacy and numeracy
Strong computer knowledge including accounting software and Excel skills.
