Minimum Requirements:

-Reliable, well presentable and professional

-Medically healthy and fit, and capable of performing physical duties (Retirees / Pensioners will not be considered)

-Afrikaans and English first and second languages a must (Fully proficient in both)

-Matric / Grade 12

-Relevant Tertiary qualification advantageous

-Recent Operational Management experience A MUST, specifically in Parking Operations or similar industry A MUST (Industry bound KEY REQUIREMENT, NOT NEGOTIABLE)

-Strong background and work experience in Parking Operations A MUST (KEY REQUIREMENT, NOT NEGOTIABLE)

-Excellent computer skills and proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Access

-Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English (both verbal and written)

-Valid drivers license

-Knowledge of contract management a must

-Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management implementing best practices

-Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff

-Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.

-Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace

-Able to excel at operating in a fast pace environment

-Excellent people manager, open to direction

-Collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done

-Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization.

-Ability to look at situations from several points of view

-Persuasive with details and facts

-Able to delegate responsibilities effectively

-High comfort level working in a diverse environment

-Stable employment record and contactable references a must

-Residing in Pretoria

-To start as soon as possible

Duties:

-Full car park operations management function, ensuring operational effectiveness on site by providing effective leadership to site staff, ensuring landlords requirements are met and that most cost-effective methods are utilized consistently.

-Ensure that car park meets optimum service levels at all time as per service level agreement

-Building and Maintaining landlord relations

-Ensure accurate reporting on landlord reports and system reports

-Oversee overall financial management, systems and controls on site

-Management of site staff, ensuring that staff members are correctly deployed, trained and motivated.

-Managing staff relations, disciplinary issues, performance management on site and escalate to HR Department

-Ensure staff deployment schedules run effectively and that monthly wages adhere to budgets

-Ensure that site meets its optimum service levels at all times as per service level agreement.

-Conduct site audits on a weekly basis and ensure that procedures are adhered to

-Conduct night and weekend visits

-Ensuring that car park equipment is fully functional, and malfunctions are attended to timeously by system providers

-Analysing system generated data to optimize statistical information to landlord and management

-Conduct meetings with landlord, staff and service providers on increasing services levels

-Improve operational systems on site, processes and policies in support of organizations mission

-Supervise and coach site manager on a weekly basis

-Report to Managing Director, regular meetings with Managing Director around operational planning

-Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of management team

Salary: R 35 000.00 gross maximum
