Requirements: Previous experience in wedding planning is essential with completion of relevant courses an advantage. Strong organizational, multi-tasking, time management and negotiating skills. The ability & knowledge to plan weddings from inception to completion. Committed to service excellence & guest satisfaction, to understand & meet the needs of the clients. Advanced computer skills in MS packages, Micros & Opera packages. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and command of the English language. Great at establishing & maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, and industry professionals. Knowledgeable of cultural practices & traditions of clients from different backgrounds. Creative with an eye for detail and knowledgeable of wedding trends and décor. The ability to work well under pressure and problem solve unexpected challenges. Sensitive to working with different personalities, patient and diplomatic. Driver’s license and reliable transport. Stable employment history and contactable references. A portfolio must be submitted with your application showcasing beautiful and creative past weddings.
