Wireless Security Product/Sales Specialist – East Rand - East Johannesburg

RESPONSIBILITIES Manage overall national product sales strategy for the different regions within South Africa Identify and develop new national sales opportunities Monitor and manage promotional activities Build and train as well as maintain strong relationships with the company’s sales staff and branches Achieve the budgeted sales and margins as set out and determine by management Gather information on the market, competitors and market trends in order to successfully close the sales opportunities Monitor the proficiency level of sales and technical staff at affiliated companies and lift the level to acceptable levels where necessary Training of staff and customers on various product as well as Technical support to branches Assist customers and sales staff with product configuration and setup when required Report on equipment failures Perform first line testing when required Provide feedback, answers and solutions on topics listed in the company's Web based technical forum Telephonic and onsite technical support (customers and sales staff) when required Maintain demo boards in demo room Advise customers and sales staff on product choice for installation or alternate products that are available Demonstrates equipment to customers and company staff Create and maintain data base with potential, new and existing clients Assist with stock take Maintains ISO compliancy Requirements Grade 12 A BCom or MBA degree is preferred Minimum of 510 years product sales experience preferably in a similar industry (wireless security technology and related Security Product) and technical environment MUST have two year’s installation and programming experience with at least one of the following: Alarms, Access Control, CCTV Must be prepared to travel throughout South Africa and neighbouring countries MUST have own comprehensively insured and reliable vehicle MUST have valid driver’s licence Current and valid passport Excellent Security Product related knowledge Good communication skills In depth knowledge of the industry including strengths and weaknesses of competitors in the industry MS Office, Syspro or similar ERP software and networks Apply Now
