Parts and Service Manager Mining & Rock Excavation Technique Job description: ·SDE Parts and services business development, management and continuous improvement in all areas: ·Field Service ·Spare Parts sales, mix and stock levels ·Service and repair Contracts ·Product Support ·Warranty ·Training ·Unit and component repair and rebuilds ·Tactical Matrix management ·Establish business goals in terms of market share and consolidated profitability ·Operationally manage the human and physical assets of he company as required to achieve these business goals ·Liaise with PC on product development, pricing and support ·Establish KPI’s for all parts and services segments and measure progress ·Develop and manage the SDE training and warranty processes. ·Develop and manage the SDE technical support division ·Develop and manage a profitable SDE field service structure ·Manage the Work in Progress ·Build on internal relations with the MRS Workshop, logistics and customer services to reduce inefficiencies ·Ensure accuracy and timeous quotation to invoicing of Parts and services products ·Attend monthly Technical Liaison / Quality meetings with key customers ·Ensure all Tech Liaison / Quality issues are actioned and reported timeously ·Regular site and customer visits ·Management of all expenses within the MRS – SDE ·Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to within the MRS – SDE division ·Determine and take corrective action on policies and procedures which are not effective or efficient for the SDE business ·Do forward planning and recruitment, in line with the MRS – SDE strategies ·Ensue MRS – SDE has the required quantity and quality of technical and training staff ·Implementation of the MRS – SDE VC scheme ·Quality assurance within all aspects of the MRS – SDE division ·Appraisals of subordinates ·Any other duties and projects as required by the MRS BLM ·Monthly report for the MRS Business Line Manager Mission: To develop and implement a quality SDE parts and services strategy to ensure that the company meets its business goals in this region, in terms of a sustainable stability, growth and profitable parts and services business for MRS – SDE Experience requirements: At least a minimum of 3 years management experience An good level of knowledge of the SDE service industry and the related industry practises will be an added advantage Has proven experience of parts and services and has forged excellent customer development and relations Is computer literate this included working knowledge of MS Office, Lotus Notes etc Must have past experience of managing a business unit/team Educational requirements: Relevant trade certificate, Degree/Diploma or equivalent – ideally within a business related area, Personality requirements: Is self motivated Has good planning and organising skills Valid drivers license Has previous experience of developing, motivating and managing a winning team Has a excellent standard of presentation, communication and interpersonal skills Country and city description: This position is based in Witfield, Boksburg Reference ID: JBLT-98CC7J Functional area: Service Country of service: South Africa State: Gauteng City: Witfield Company name: Atlas Copco South Africa (Pty) Ltd Personnel manager: Lindy Raynard Phone: 011 821 9436 Send Application To: [email protected] Last date to apply: 2013-06-21
