Workshop Manager - Heidelberg
A leading manufacturer of refrigerated bodies and trailers is currently seeking a dedicated Workshop Manager to join their team. Committed to excellence in production and innovation, this company strives to deliver top-quality products to their clients.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Planning and overseeing workshop activities for refrigerated body and trailer manufacturing.
- Managing workshop staff, including supervision, training, and performance evaluation.
- Controlling and monitoring the flow of work to ensure efficient operations.
- Ensuring timely completion of production jobs according to schedule.
- Conducting quality checks on work done to maintain high standards.
- Reporting to management on workshop progress and issues.
- Controlling overtime hours worked by staff.
- Managing housekeeping in the workshop to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Computer literate, proficient in MS Office.
- Well-spoken in English.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
NB: All positions must have first-hand knowledge/experience of refrigerated body building, including:
- Refrigerated body building.
- Lean manufacturing processes.
- Production/steel trailer manufacturing.
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) safety background knowledge.
