Our company is looking for a highly experienced individual who will we managing our workshop. Ensure oil storeroom is clean and stocked at all times Ensure good housekeeping are kept in the storerooms and shelves. Ensure workshop is clean before shift ends – includes service pits Ensure all services are done on time. Place orders of parts needed Ensure all repairs and services are done and documented. Oversee the housekeeping of trucks Do inspections a week prior to service date so necessary parts can be ordered. Book services once all the parts are in stock Liase with fleed assistant on servicing dates and schedules. Truck brakes to be inspected each month and reported. Ensure all trucks are in a useable order suitable to roadworthy requirements. Carry out repair work on generators. Services on generators are done on time. Ensure radiators are washed out weekly Ensuere all equipment is in a useable order suitable to DMRE requirements. Skills, knowledge and experience • Proven track record of running a worskop for trucks and earthmoving equipment • Qualified diesel mechanic • People skills ( Management ) • Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans • Strong individual who can take own initative
