Workshop Manager - (PERMANENT) - Cape Town City Centre
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree preferable. Post graduate studies advantageous.
- 5 years+ experience in manufacturing environment. Steelwork experience essential. HVAC ducting experience advantageous.
- Team player with ability to build relationships both internally and externally
Duties:
- Drive overall profitability of factory.
- Management of stock control, replenishment, stock count process.
- Accountability of factory Gross Profit (GP%) and EBITDA.
- Drive sales through networks and product knowledge.
- Develop website and product catalogue to drive sales.
- Manage factory staff and drive performance.
- Oversight of invoicing processes.
- Technical review of works orders.
Quality control:
- Factory optimization and asset planning / replacement.
- Develop preventative maintenance schedules.
- Works independently and takes overall accountability of factory performance.
