NEW EMPLOYMENT AVAILABLE Title: Workshop & Field Service Technicians Area: Newcastle Industry: Material Handling / Working at heights / MWEP's / Forklifts etc Ref No.: TRG 2047 Salary: Market related TCTC available/negotiable R32 000.00 kpm Provident Fund Cell Allowance Vehicle Start Date: As soon as possible An opportunity for an experienced WORKSHOP & FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIANS are required for permanent employment based in Newcastle. Maintain MEWP equipment operational by completing regular inspections and functional procedures as defined from time to time and complete preventive maintenance tasks, correcting equipment deficiencies, making adjustments and alignments, check and maintain mine spec requirements if required Determine equipment condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying worn and damaged parts and reporting as may be required Keeps equipment available for use by monitoring and completing preventive maintenance schedules, installing components, parts, oil, water and upgrades when required and control corrosion Verify equipment performance by conducting predefined functional tests, adjusting controls and systems Keep record of completed jobs. Conform with MEWP standards and equipment requirements by ensuring up-to-date documentation are available upon request - services and safety stickers/decals, on-board documentation, documentation regarding engine services, hydraulic services, load test, load test inspections and mine specific documentation as well as site specific documentation Keep operational tools and spares for, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance and for calling-in repairs Standby and call-out as and when required Off-load machine, perform PDI (Post Delivery Inspection) together with the customers and record any damages and/or snags, including proper mine spec's Stock take and Vehicle stock includes Monthly vehicle stock-take and keeping standard stock quantities in vehicle Trade Qualification (Millwright) OR Red Seal Trade Tested/Qualified Technician (Diesel / Fitter / Hydraulic Technician / Auto Electrician etc) 3 years' experience (post qualification) with Maintenance and repairs on MWEP/Forklift or Material Handling Equipment 2 years' experience in technical field & workshop services, maintenance and repairs. Knowledge of MEWP/Forklift equipment regarding operations, functions, technical functions, parts and tools including a comprehensive understanding of hydraulics, engine mechanics, electrical, electronics and technical schematics. Clear understanding of safety management and risk assessment Mechanical, hydraulic, electric and electronic tooling knowledge Knowledge of mechanical inspections, tools and analysers Computer literate (MS Office) Drivers licence Understanding and intensive use of sms, mms, internet and cellular communications Time Management Documentation Skills Inventory Control Salary: Market related TCTC available/negotiable R32 000.00 kpm Provident Fund Cell Allowance Vehicle Start Date: As soon as possible Apply Now
