3D Animator - - Randburg

Using technical software packages, such as 3ds Max, Maya, and Blender. Building up accurate, detailed, frame-by-frame visuals. recording dialogue and working with editors to composite the various layers of animation (backgrounds, special effects, characters, and graphics) to produce the finished piece. Working as part of a broader production team, which might include liaising with printers, copywriters, photographers, designers, account executives, website designers or marketing specialists. Design 3D animations using specialized computer animation programs. Design animated movies, video games, and TV shows, and add animations to other forms of media. Work with a team of animators, designers, and developers to turn animations into a fully functional product. Revise animations based on feedback. Participate in brainstorming and problem-solving sessions. Meet project deadlines and work efficiently within a team environment. Assist in optimizing and preparing 3D assets for real-time applications. Collaborate with the creative team to create 3D assets, models, textures, and animations for various projects. Work on modelling, texturing, rigging, lighting, and rendering of 3D assets. Ensure the quality and consistency of 3D assets across projects. Adapt to various artistic styles and project requirements. Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric). Experience: Industry relevant experience required. Skills: Must have exceptional computer literacy. Strong passion and drive for 3D animating. Proficiency in 3DS MAX; experience with Maya and Blender is a plus. Strong understanding of 3D modelling, texturing, lighting, and animation. Excellent problem-solving and creative skills. Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to different project requirements.
