3x Junior Sous Chef - George
Duties and Responsibility include but not limited:
Coordinating orders from the pass
Check plating and garnishing is up to standard
Ensure food is correct as per order placed
Manage stock including stock counts, stock rotation, portion, wastage and spoilage control
Create a harmonious environment between FOH and BOH
Assisting the Executive chef with menu development, costing
Working within line to budget requirements and cost of sales
Managing the kitchen in the absence for the Sous Chef
Any other duties as required by the Sous Chef
Qualifications
:
Matric
Certificate in hospitality and / or culinary arts
Fluent in English & Afrikaans
Computer literate
Micros/SAP POS will be advantageous
2 years in a similar role
