3x Junior Sous Chef - George

Duties and Responsibility include but not limited:
  • Coordinating orders from the pass
  • Check plating and garnishing is up to standard
  • Ensure food is correct as per order placed
  • Manage stock including stock counts, stock rotation, portion, wastage and spoilage control
  • Create a harmonious environment between FOH and BOH
  • Assisting the Executive chef with menu development, costing
  • Working within line to budget requirements and cost of sales
  • Managing the kitchen in the absence for the Sous Chef
  • Any other duties as required by the Sous Chef
Qualifications:
  • Matric
  • Certificate in hospitality and / or culinary arts
  • Fluent in English & Afrikaans
  • Computer literate
  • Micros/SAP POS will be advantageous
  • 2 years in a similar role
