Duties will include but are not limited to:
Operations Manager:

Supervising all aspects of the abattoir operations, including slaughter, processing and packaging.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards
Monitor and optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste
Oversee the maintenance end repair of equipment to ensure smooth operation

Staff Management:

Schedule shifts and allocate tasks to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient workflow.
Manage over 40 staff
Excellent communication and ability to work on all levels

Quality Control:

Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the consistent quality of ostrich meat products.
Conduct regular inspections of the facility and processed to identify and address any issues affecting product quality.

Inventory and Supply Chain Management:

Manage inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and ingredients
