About the Role Spearhead sales initiatives, focusing on acquiring new clients and nurturing existing relationships. Act as a brand ambassador, effectively communicating Jem's unique value proposition to potential clients. Based in-office, 3 days per week. Roles and Responsibilities Develop and execute strategies for lead generation and sales conversions. Manage a robust pipeline, ensuring CRM accuracy and systematic follow-up. Requirements Minimum Requirements: Proven sales experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. Soft Skill Requirements: Resilience, adaptability, and a relentless drive. Exceptional organisational and process management abilities. Demonstrated discipline in sales methodology and daily routines. Deep curiosity about industry trends and world affairs, enhancing client engagement. Advantageous Experience: Track record of exceeding sales targets. Eagerness for feedback and continuous self-improvement. Creative and unconstrained approach to client acquisition. Core Characteristics & Behaviours Resilience: Demonstrated endurance and adaptability in challenging sales environments. Experience in Start-ups: Preference for candidates who've thrived in start-up settings, exhibiting scrappiness and self-sufficiency. Commission Drive: Must show a strong motivation for financial success. Disagreeable Nature: Confident in challenging ideas and negotiating assertively. Organized/Process-Driven: Expertise in managing complex sales pipelines with precision. Disciplined: Prioritizes high-value activities, avoids distractions, and maintains a structured work-life balance. Curiosity: Active interest in industry insights and broad general knowledge.
