Account Executive - Corporate, Commercial (AA/EE)

Area: Johannesburg or Stellenbosch

Package: R60000-R65000 CTC per month

Job purpose: To service clients and prospective clients in order to retain and manage relationships and portfolios and grow the business. To develop and maintain good working relationships with the rest of the business.

Duties:

Book of business/Sales

Responsible for Book of business which includes growth (organic, new business, upselling, cross selling), maintenance and retention
Regular client interactions and documented outcomes/discussion
Provide good advice to clients and explain policies in order to protect their assets and protect them against financial loss
Meeting FAIS requirements in terms of documentation and client record of advice
Quotes
Assist with Claims and Technical broking
Assist and support on rate and insurer negotiations
- Renewals
- Endorsements
- Manage unpaid premium process

Risk Management

Up to date knowledge of changes in the insurance industry
Compliance knowledge, champion and ensure adherence to all procedures and FAIS requirements
Manage clients effectively to avoid exposing the business to risk and incurring Professional Indemnity claims

Claims and Technical Broking

Take overall accountability for claims on all clients
Work with the Claims team on all relevant claims
Assist the Technical Broker where requested to ensure that procedures, policies and documents are completed
Provide clear instructions and complete information to the Technical Broker
Guide client through the Risk Survey Requirements/Improvements process and assist Technical Broker where required
