Job Duties:
- Manage and develop relationships with assigned key accounts
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits
- Achieve agreed sales targets and profitability
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Provide after sales service
- Conduct market and competitor analysis
- Achieve agreed customer visits
- Prepare reports on account status and sales forecasts
- Assist accounts personnel with debt collection
- Accurate and timely loading of rental orders on the ERP system
Required Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager or relevant role
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales
- Experience working in the manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of market trends and competitors
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively
- Report writing
- Valid driver's license
Working Conditions:
- Will be responsible for the Polokwane and Nelspruit region
- Office-based role with frequent travel to meet clients
- Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday
- Fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and adaptability
