N. Dip, Adv. Dip, or BTech in Food Technology and 5 years' sales and laboratory experience. Extensive technical microbiological and chemical sales experience and a valid driver's license is required. Description: A company that specializes in commercial laboratory testing is seeking an Account Manager to join their team. The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, being responsible for all new business sales activities, from lead generation to closing sales; developing and implementing a Sales and Marketing plan together with the Business Development Manager that will meet the goals of the expanding customer base; being a brand ambassador and maintaining the company image; managing new client relationships from prospecting to account management; and having a thorough understanding of all chemical and microbiological analyses carried out by the company. Key Requirements: The ideal candidate should have a N. Dip, Adv. Dip, or BTech in Food Technology as well as 5 years' working experience that includes sales and laboratory experience. Extensive technical microbiological and chemical sales experience and a valid driver's license is required. Food manufacturing knowledge would be advantageous. Additional Requirements: The ideal candidate should have a customer-centric attitude; a flexible and innovative approach to work; excellent interpersonal communication, strong organisational, and excellent problem-solving skills; be target driven, confident, and detail-oriented; the ability to adapt to diverse situations and setting with ease and work in a team; and be computer literate (MS Office Suite).
