A day in the life of an Industrial Account Manager at Matus We call on our existing customers regularly in accordance with a predetermined call plan, seeking to understand their needs, and going the extra mile to ensure their needs are met. We are constantly looking for new business from our existing and new customers. We focus on the quality of the call. We are always well prepared and have a plan for every call. We want to have great conversations where we build trust and are seen as a business partner and advisor. We want to demonstrate that we understand our customer's business and become their trusted subject matter experts. Your key responsibilities as an Industrial Account manager Customer Relationship Management : You will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our industrial customers, Co-Ops and Hire stores in the Mpumalanga region, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. Product Expertise : You are a trusted expert in our wide range of industrial brands, including Matweld, Matair, Hikoki, Euroboor, Sykes, Sthalwille, Mobi, and Fox. Your in-depth knowledge will enable you to provide tailored solutions to meet customer requirements. Sales and Business Development : Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities for upselling and cross selling our entire product range. Develop and implement strategies to expand our customer base and increase market share. Training and Support : Provide product training and support to customers, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and information to sell our products. Attend customer open and demo days, co call with our customers at their customers to identify opportunities for Matus brands. Collaboration : Work closely with the internal team, including sales, Category managers, marketing, and logistics, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Product Knowledge : A strong understanding of industrial tools and equipment, particularly within the Matweld, Matair, Hikoki, Euroboor, Sykes, Sthalwille, Mobi, and Fox brands. While training will be provided there is a requirement for ongoing self-learning to ensure you are abreast of product developments, FAB's, competitors etc. Customer Focus : A customer-centric approach with a passion for building and maintaining long-term relationships. Sales Experience : A proven sales track record. Residency : Applicants should be based in or willing to relocate to the Mpumalanga area. The areas you will be required to service are Witbank, Middelburg, Burgersfort, Steelpoort, Nelspruit and surrounds. Realistic and Achievable on Target Earnings (OTE) with a guaranteed base salary.
