Our client, one of Africa's largest suppliers of prefabricated buildings with over 50 years of experience in the alternative building technology industry, is looking for an Account Manager to join their team. Main Purpose of the Job: To drive and achieve profitable sales targets from both new and existing clients. To increase market share, provide exceptional customer service, and build relationships with current and new clients focusing on regions including Nelspruit, Steelpoort/Burgersfort and Polokwane. Reports to : Senior Account Manager Achieve agreed sales targets Achieve agreed profitability Actively look for and create opportunities within the market Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and future customers Provide after sales service and regular entertainment of customers Establish and maintain healthy prospect pipeline Achieve agreed customer visits Conduct market and competitor analysis Ensure timely and accurate completion of enquiries, quotes, and tenders Loading of rental orders on the ERP system Assist accounts personnel with collection of outstanding and overdue payments Timely and accurate completion of weekly/monthly reports Compliance to all reasonable instructions Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Control Compliance to the SHEQ code of conduct and standards Compliance to all COVID protocols required Matric (Grade 12) Diploma/Degree in Marketing or Sales Valid Driver's license At least 3 years relevant experience Successful track record in achieving targets Report writing and previous experience using an ERP system Ability to read construction drawings Knowledge and Skills Good understanding of sales and rentals Mobile units/construction product knowledge Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly rapport with both customers and colleagues Market Intelligence Cost control Must be able to use MS Office packages Good sales and communication skills Energetic, target driven and adaptable Competent in administrative tasks (i.e., doing quotations, weekly sales reporting, lease agreements) Good planning and organizational skills A market related salary plus a monthly bonus.
