We are looking for a talented accountant to take charge of our full accounting function If you’re passionate about compiling management accounts, crafting annual financial statements, and diving into various monthly accounting tasks, we want you on board. Elevate your career and make a meaningful impact – apply now Duties and responsibilities: · Preparation of annual financial statements and independent reviews · Preparation and analysis of monthly Management Accounts · Reporting on variances and implementation of cost saving initiatives · Calculation and submission of provisional tax returns · Submission of income tax returns · Submission of EMP201 returns · Monthly reconciliation and submission of VAT Returns · Preparation of annual budgets · Cashflow management and reviewing of daily payments · Reviewing processing of Pastel done by clerks · Reconciliation of customers, suppliers and other ledger accounts Position Requirements: · Relevant Finance Degree or Diploma · Comprehensive knowledge of and experience in all aspects of financial reporting · Sound understanding of tax and management accounts · Strong analytical skills, with high attention to detail, and ability to work accurately and deliver quality outputs · Strong service delivery ethic, with action orientation and timely adherence to deadlines under pressure · Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel Job Type: Full-time Education: Bachelors License/Certification: SAICA/ SAIPA member registration The post Accountant appeared first on freerecruit.co.za .
