My client is looking for a skilled and dedicated individual to join their team in the role of Accountant.This is position is based in Durban North. Duties:Financial Analysis and Reporting:Assist operations management in identifying cost reduction and profit improvement opportunities through detailed financial analysis.Prepare comprehensive reports highlighting deviations from the budget and recommend corrective actions. Record Keeping:Maintain accurate and compliant records of company accounts, ensuring adherence to legal and office requirements. Audit Coordination:Efficiently coordinate audits and take corrective action promptly to ensure accuracy and compliance. Creditors and Debtors Management:Process creditors' payments accurately and in a timely manner.Ensure correct and prompt invoicing of debtors and manage timely payments. Customer Service:Provide prompt and accurate accounting support to internal customers, fostering positive relationships across the organization. Team Leadership:Build and lead a competent and motivated team of accounting staff through confident and caring leadership. Compliance:Ensure strict adherence to all company and regulatory accounting policies and procedures. Regulatory Awareness:Stay up-to-date with changes in tax and accounting regulations to ensure compliance. Statutory Compliance:Submit accurate statutory returns within specified deadlines. Collaboration:Work collaboratively within a team or independently to consistently deliver high-quality results.
