Accountant - Pretoria

Minimum requirements:
  • Degree in accounting or finance.
  • Experience in working with a company's accounting practices, ideally 3 years experience.
  • Able to work with accounting systems (Pastel, Sage).
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Be the go between the various subsidiary companies and help their bookkeepers with the accounting practices.
  • Manage the holding company's books and finances, including reconciliations, loading payment allocations, billings and costing.
  • Be a link between the subsidiary companies and the holding companies CEO.
    Visit each subsidiary company weekly and manage their day-to-day accounting activities.
  • Understand and get involved in the running of the different businesses (property industry, retail, warehousing and distribution and safety deposit boxes, all based in the Pretoria / Centurion area).
