A travel company is currently seeking an Accountant to join its finance team.

As an Accountant you will responsible for the following:

Maintain and update financial records accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets to ensure financial stability.
Track and report on company expenses, ensuring all are recorded correctly and within budget.
Prepare and present financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Coordinate internal and external audits, and implement any necessary corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and prepare and submit tax returns.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure proper recording of capital expenditure.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
