My client in the property management and development sector has a great opportunity for a detail-oriented and skilled Accountant to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage financial records and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, statements, and records
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconciling bank statements and general ledgers
- Reconcile accounts and prepare and analyze financial information
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
- Support the auditing process and maintain internal controls
- Collaborate with seniors on financial planning and analysis
- Stay updated on industry and regulatory changes to ensure compliance
Requirements:
- BComm Accounting or similar qualification
- SAIPA Articles or 2-3 years of financial accounts processing experience
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
