Job Description:As the accountant, your responsibilities include the following:
Oversee financial transactions and maintain accurate records
Prepare financial statements and reports
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Maintain fixed asset registers which includes additions, disposals and depreciations
Perform balance sheet reconciliations
Analyze cost center expense details
Assist with year end audit journals
Manage the stock count process and report on variances found
Reconcile the intercompany loan account
Assist with adhoc administration and submissions
Skills & Experience: Excellent planning and organizational skills
Deadline driven
5-10 years experience in a bookkeeping position
Proficiency in MS office
Qualification:Relevant Finance or Accounting degree or Diploma
Grade 12 (Matric)
