Job Description: We are looking for a Accountant with a strong background in financial services and a passion for numbers. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience, expertise in Pastel accounting software, and a BCom in Accounting. This role is critical in providing financial insights, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Develop and implement financial models to support business planning and strategy. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and support. Conduct cost analysis and recommend cost-saving initiatives. Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes. Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations. Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process. Qualifications: BCom in Accounting or related field. Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in financial services. Proficiency in Pastel accounting software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and accuracy.
