Job & Company Descriptions An Engineering company is currently looking for an Accountant to permanently join their roads & earthworks cross-border finance department in Johannesburg North. You will be involved in the day-to-day accounting, taxation and operational function for the roads & earthworks division. This role requires travelling within Africa on an ad hoc basis. Duties: Prepare journals and balance sheet reconciliations Liaise with external auditors to prepare financial statements. Prepare monthly VAT & withholding tax reconciliations. Prepare quarterly provisional tax calculations. Prepare management accounts Approve daily cashbook. Qualifications & skills: BCom Accounting Degree required with SAICA articles. COVID-19 Vaccinated & available to travel within Africa. Solid understanding of Financial Statements, IFRS and reporting required. If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
