An Agritalent client, a Mining and Logistics Group, seeks an Accountant to ensure that the day to day operational financial reporting is done. Vat recons Ensure that all vat recons are accurately completed Salary recons Ensure that all salary recons are accurately completed Bank recons Ensure that all bank recons are accurately completed Fixed asset recons Ensure that all fixed asset recons are accurately completed Amortization schedules Ensure that amortization schedules are accurately completed Intergroup invoices Ensure that intergroup invoices are accurately completed Intergroup loans that intergroup loans are accurately completed Diesel Recons Ensure that diesel recons are accurately completed Creditors/debtors recon Ensure that creditors/debtors recons diesel recons are accurately completed Basic accounting journals such as depreciation, salaries and wages, interest on hire purchases Ensure that all journals are accurately completed Cash flow planning and cash flow management Monthly cash flow projections and daily management/reporting of all cash flows. Budgets and forecasts Monthly budget management Compliance with Financial Policies Ensure adherence to company financial policies, including expense approval processes and procurement guidelines. Formal Qualifications Required B Com Accounting CA / SAIPA / CIMA Work related experience required 5 to 10 Years in a similar role Job related skills required People skills Attention to detail Knowledge of Accounting Practices Knowledge of Sage Accounting Critical Thinking Skills Time Management Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is crucial Data Analysis Tools: Familiarize yourself with tools like PivotTables, PivotCharts, and Data Validation Timeliness of Financial Reporting: Timely reporting is crucial for informed decision-making. Background in BBBEE verification will be a bonus
